Gupton Update

Throughout this forum, there are many positive stories (and some negative) about dealers across the country. I leveraged this forum to purchase my third Jeep Wrangler, first since 2007. The experience with Gupton was second to none. From working with Daniel on ordering the vehicle and the updates, to getting to the store A DAY early (I was too excited) and working with Renee and Walter to get the vehicle. Finance back office time was less than 10 minutes as Daniel preapproved financing for me. As soon as Nacho is back, I will be ordering another Jeep from Gupton.

I just ordered from Gupton as well last week. I've been jerked around so many times trying to find a Wrangler. I never considered looking out of state (only because I'm so far south that a 12 hour drive would still keep me in Texas) until one dealer specifically wanted to charge me a $10k "Market Adjustment" fee. I chewed them down to $1k over MSRP but I still wasn't happy. The sales manager was pissed when I asked him about possibly ordering a Jeep from them. He wouldn't order one for me and said even if he did, he still was going to charge me a market adjustment fee.

I hopped on this awesome forum and decided to venture out of state and contacted Gupton inquiring about ordering a Jeep. Renee was EXTREMELY helpful and provided me numbers as well as 5% under invoice for the exact Wrangler I wanted.

How the hell are we ever gonna buy from a regular dealer again?

Honestly, even if Gupton was about the same price, I think I'd still make the trip. My experience there was unlike any new vehicle purchasing experience I've ever had.

Other dealers could learn a lot from them.

Funny thing is I DID MAKE THE TRIP AGAIN THIS WEEK to pickup my 22 Hydro JLUSS
Same GREAT service as last time. Local dealer lots still empty, Gupton had 250 waiting for pickup when I was there and Renee just texted me there were 6 more carriers after I left (48 more Wranglers)

My Son wants to order a Challenger from them, he might come with me when I pick up to see the process first hand. Good Lord I hope Challengers don't have the delays that Jeeps do, he has get it done now no procrastination no patience unlike his Dad...
