[Trauma Jeep]

I was installing rick rails when I noticed this “missed detail” by QC. I understand that it can act as an insulator and enhance structural integrity, but trim it before it leaves the factory. Oh, well I’ll figure out some type of end cap for that seam. Does anyone already have a fix?
This is on both left and right ends, these pics are after a trim job.

Weathertec makes mud flaps that fit rubi rails would probably cover that also. I’m assuming its in the wheel well

I had some of this foam insulation protruding, but I just snapped it off Also, after getting the underneath LineX'd, I don't see any more foam But, honestly, it's probably because I just don't pay attention

I do have the Weathertec mud flaps, however this issue is in the rear.

Around $500 if I recall correctly. I had used Ziebart in the past, but always ended up with rust. So on my 2017 JKU, I tried LineX. I took an endoscope down the frame last fall and saw no rust flakes. That's not bad for the Salt and Brine Belt of Ohio . I also took the 2019 JL in to LineX right from the dealer. So far I've been extremely happy with both Jeeps. I want to say it's guaranteed for 7 years?

I could lie to you and say yes, but honestly I have artillery ear . I really can't tell you because I had it done right away. "They" say it's supposed to. I think what I like the most other than the rust proofing is that the underneath is just a nice solid black. Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer. Just trying to be honest
