Anyone have tried to install those GPCA handles with the Sky one touch roof? I know, I know can’t have it all... also have Alien shade ;)

I've been looking at the Mopar Grab handles for the past week, and I am worried that they will be a hindrance when getting in and out of the vehicle, especially on the driver side. Someone posted how they modded it using magnets to hold them up. Anyone have any reviews on these and if they modded it, how did they do it? Thanks!

I have the GPCA ones as well they work great, no issues with them except you have to occasionally tighten them if you're worried about them being in the stowed position, which for me they don't have to be and are still fine.

My original concern was having strong enough ones for my wife to get in and out. Not good if she falls, and she can put her full weight on these with no concern.

Someone said they think they go on the other way, but don't think it matters. Lol.

This seems like a good option, but I would prefer something that would be easier to stow away. The magnet option for the Mopar seem to be the best fix for me so far. I wonder if there's a spring option available, where it can easily fold up out of the way?
