Got My Speakers and Amp Installed

Took about nine hours. Still need to dial in the gains but its a massive improvement. Crystal clear at all volumes and it gets incredibly loud when you crank it.

1. Underseat amp brackets work just fine in two doors
2. Take the doors off to install the knee pods, I didn't feel like getting my door cart out and it would have made getting the side screws in/out less of a pain if I had
3. Use short RCA cables, the amp power kit I bought came with 17' cables and there's about 10' coiled up behind my glovebox

Out of curiosity, what is the approximate cost for the Kickers and JBL amp? The amp is $200-$280 online.

And did you put a woofer in?

I don't have a sport, so the stock speakers are less than desirable. Especially the pods on the roll bar. Too much rattle at volume or deeper bass.

I think I'm at about $1,400 for everything, speakers, amp, AmpPro, and all the brackets, mounts, and wiring. No sub yet, but I'll probably add a small powered sub under the passenger seat at some point.

The Tspec fuse is just velcro'd to the bracket.

Extra line outs to easily add a sub. I had an AmpPro with the stage 6 Quart kit and replaced it with a Fosgate DSR-1. Still haven’t scratched the surface of what it’ll do.

Much better than the factory non-Alpine but I think it still needs a sub to really round it out.
