Been looking for a soft top for my 19 JLU for awhile. Living in Arizona allows for going topless about 3/4 of the year. Didn't want to spend big bucks so have been shopping the local online sale places, like Craigslist, Offerup, Nextdoor, and Marketplace. The other day I was able to score a Mopar twill softop, all parts and hardware, freedom top storage bag, and some rubber jeep mats for $400. Seller originally had posted at $1200 (all items were unused), but had received no offers. Now the soft top is on (that took a little work) and ready to go.

There are times when you stumble across deals like that. Not too long ago a member posted about a premium top in the box for sale on CL for $500. I was not going to look into it, but thought why not since having dual tops would be nice.

It was totally legit. The guy's wife bought a Jeep with the dual top option and did not want the soft top. When winter is over in CO, I will run the soft top until the end of the summer.

Honestly if you live in an area with winters (I'm in NH), gotta have both tops (if you have storage space that is), its a big part of what makes a Wrangler the cherished and iconic machine it is...
