What's the verdict?
The N3 fuse had blown! I hooked it up to N4 and was able to drive it home. Just got back (It's 230AM right now). Headed to bed and will go out tomorrow and buy a replacement fuse array.

Looks like I'm going to make it out to Gold Mountain afterall. :)

Thanks! Happy the ordeal is almost over (once I get the new array). It wasn't a great situation but could always have been worse. Could have had my clutch plate explode in the middle of nowhere.

I also learned something new about the Jeep which is always a good thing.

Biggest bummer was I never made it to the offroad/camping trip. I was headed up north to take my brother and nephews on their first offroading trip.

i hope you've already upgraded your AAA membership to Premier. as should everyone else. it was going to cost her $1k-2k to tow it less than 200 miles. she only has standard AAA which gives you like 12 miles if that. i have premier. you get one 200 mile tow per year and three additional 100 mile tows. big bear is just over 100 miles away from my house and i live closer than most of you lol.

At that price for a tow, I’d just rent a flat bed and phone a friend lol. Craziness how expensive a tow is now…

I called around to try and get a flat bed but Uhaul didn't have anything wide enough and they also wouldn't let me take anything one way. Sadly options out there were very limited. Couldn't even rent a car to drive back to LA as they wanted me to then drive it back to return it.

Most rental car companies always say you need to return it where you rented it. But if you cannot and drop it off locally at their branch the fee is typically not too terrible, something about $40 which is less than you would spend in gas to get back there. of cousre double check before doing that

Definitely not 40 bucks anymore. Often times is a couple hundred. And sometimes it's a fee and then mileage on top depending on whonyou rent from.

I think I'm actually ready now for Saturday. Today I replaced my blown fuse array and re-routed my front locker air hose. I may attempt to move my air chuck to the bumper this week but it's rigged well enough now that'll it get me through Gold Mountain.

We still thinking 830A?
