Well first time needing to jack up my jeep, found out my floor jack isn't going to reach. Now I need a new jack

Place jack under axle, I don’t think there’s a jack on earth that won’t work. If you are lifting by the frame you’ll need a very tall jack by the time the suspension droops all the way.

This^^ and if you don't have a pair of jack stands I'd be sure to get a set, never trust just a jack if you're doing any work under your Jeep. Plus it's good to put it up on stands every now & then to have a good look under there if you take it off road on a regular basis.
