I think the only reason the flaps for the Sport and Sahara wont fit the Rubicon is because of the Rubicon rock rails. Seems to me if you cut out a space for the rock rails they would work.

Yep... so far the Rokblokz are the only game in town (far as I can tell). At present I only have the fronts on, will add the rears once I replace the plastic rear bumper. But there's only so much any mud flap can do when going through mud too fast... though it did keep most of the mud off the side!

I need to protect my lower door hinges and my painted rear fender from flying rocks. I'm getting lots of paint chips. Looking at where the mud is on yours, I don't think they will help. Are those the standard size or XL?

It's a lot less than it would be without. They'd have to be touching the ground if you wanted zero...

I was getting serious chipping on my hinges from day 1. Not a huge deal (it's a Jeep) and easily cleaned up with touchup paint. NO chips since adding the flaps. The muddy picture was after going through mud a bit too fast (some mud actually splashed over the windshield with the Sunrider open... still cleaning some mud off the interior). So the flaps did a decent job of keeping most of it off as there is no thick mud on the doors. Rear fenders may still be somewhat vulnerable but only way to totally prevent that would be running boards (not happening with my Jeep) or longer flaps (not really practical).

I got the standard size. The XLs are wider and hang a bit lower so might do a better job.

Before and after (still touching up the hinges):

A lot of folks on here have replaced the thumb screws with pan head screws or other... there's another thread on here somewhere that goes into this pretty deeply.

Thanks, I just placed an order! Got into some nasty mud last weekend with my JLUR, holy shit does this thing need mudflaps....hahaha.....I had mud running down the doors and the hinges were growing before our very eyes....

No. I sold my rock rails and put on the mopar side steps and the flaps don't fit. There's a part of the flap that sticks out and fits to the contour of the Sport/Sahara wheel well. The Rubicon wheel well is straight.

I went with Rockblockz for front and rear. Easy install for front and a little bit tricky for the rear.
I like it so much ! Great loogking et nice protection.

These were the flaps I purchased. They are not form molded, but heavy rubberized flaps and they have worked perfectly. I was able to attach them with two screws through the inner fender lining and then two bolts that run through the flap near the bottom of the inner fender liner. At the bottom, there is a heavy plastic bracket that the liner attaches to. I made my measurements, drilled holes into my flaps and ran my bolts through the flaps, the liner and the bracket for a strong support. The bottom of the flap is about 10 inches from the bottom of the ground and sticks out about a half an inch on the side of the fender. Not a single rock hits the side of my Jeep or fenders and I drive down a rock road everyday.
thanks fir the write up. Any chance you could post up some pics?

I made some out of a flat sheet of rubber. I used the existing plastic clips to hold it in place. It covers the gap between the fender and rock slider.

I also got the Weathertechs for the Rubicon. They are easy to install though I had to shim the upper part of the rear flaps so they fit tight against the bumper. Look good and work great. Now I rarely hear rocks hit the body or the sliders.

Can someone take better pictures of where they would mount/fall from the front/inside of the wheel well...and show from behind the front well too? It's hard to tell how they fall so I can compare where my side rails would interfere or not.

Thanks!!
