Hi! I have some slight rust on my frame where my front metal fender liners were rubbing against it. What should I use to spray on the frame after I remove the rust? Thanks!

If you want to cover it rust paint like tremclad or rustoleum. To slow the rust and stop from being an issue spray with a product like krown or fluid film. Those have to be done on a regular basis once a year or so type thing. Depends how bad it is too. Pics would help.

Nothing crazy. Just don’t want it progressing.

Rustoleum is a cheap bandaid. It's fine and widely available, I've used it in the past. It's can also be easy, buy a spray can and go to town.

Now I have found that Chassis Saver is a much much better product. You can get it in flat frame black. just brush or spray it on. It WANTS surface rust. it will bind to it and chemically convert it. it's tough as nails.

Hit it with a wire brush to get the loose stuff off then brush on some Ospho. It will chemically stop the rust and won't flake off like paint does.

There are a number of good rust neutralizing paint products out there to apply to that rust.. that, and maybe trim that liner so it's not rubbing there?
