Hey Mike, this is good info……. Thanks

I have a question that I asked you back in January in a PM. I don’t think I explained my question very well back then because you never really gave me the answer I was looking for… So I’m going to ask it here in case there’s others out there with the same question……
Since I don’t talk so good I’m gonna refer to the detents as notches and the distance between notch to notch as a full turn…..

On my adjusters none of them are in a notch when they’re fully opened or turned to stop counter clockwise. So when fully open and I turn back clockwise some are only a quarter some are a half turn to the first notch. Now when I do that to all the adjusters, is that considered zero and count the turns from there, or is wide open zero and count the quarter or half turns and stop between the notches to get the same amount of clicks ? Or is it not that precise?

Ive only seen one older video, a JT video, where the guy says to open all the way then turn back to first click, then start counting from there. The newer videos, don’t mention it, they just say how many is factory settings and on from there……

Gheezz, as I read this back, I totally understand if you don’t get it, and I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing….?

I understand what you are saying, but honestly I wouldn't go that precise. If your adjusters are off side to size by one click, I don't think you will notice it. Similar to your vehicle not being equal weight side to side/front to back. Best to get them as close as possible side to side (drive to passenger).

Hey no worries on the miscommunication, happens all the time.

If you do find yourself driving around with adjusters all the way to one side, that may be a sign we need to revalve the shocks so you can use the adjusters. We usually tune the shocks with the adjusters all the way open. So in theory, you can only stiffen up the shocks from there.

Hope that helps

Thanks, it sounds like it doesn’t matter the way I’ve been doing it, so to keep the peace with the little bastard in my head, I’ll keep doing as I’ve been doing…lol…
