Posting this here in case someone else one day needs a screw/bolt replacement like I did, in the hopes it saves you time and headache!
I have a 2024 Rubicon 4xe with Sky OneTouch. I take the top off regularly (extremely possible and very easy). While manually torquing the the bolts that connect the "rear panel" (with the rear glass that lifts up) to the body, the bolts became stripped. Pathetic. So, in search of replacement bolts I went.
The "Folding Top Rear Panel" is #8 in the diagram.
Here's a view of the actual interior and where the bolt connects to the body:
Here's the original bolt:
The Mopar site, as you all know, is terrible. I was unable to locate this bolt and reached out to a local service center buddy who found Part #6512271AA. Seems like a dead-ringer, comes in packs of 8.
They arrived today. The original bolt is on top. The new one is on bottom and, as you can see, is longer:
Old on left, new on right:
The good news is, there is a void below the bolt, so these new ones work just fine and my rear panel is secure again.
