Rusty Screws would be a great name for a porn artist...comes in wearing a hard hat and a belt for his tool

There is always one hole on the bumper in which the screw just turns and does not tighten. Any quick home remedy to tighten them?

I have a 2020 Wrangler JLU and I have steel bumpers. In my case, there were no pilot holes
for the lower two screws. The plastic is not deep enough to accommodate a license plate screw for the lower two
spots. I had to drill pilot holes into the steel bumper and use self tapping metal screws of the same size as a std license plate screw and it worked. Hope this helps.

Went to go put my rear plate on and realized there are no screws. Anyone know the specific size/type so I can go to home depot or lowes to get something?
I bought nice black screws on amazon (8 in total) and replaced the originals on the front and back. as another poster mentioned, the rear plate lower 2 screws won't go in all the way because the steel bumper is in the way. you should be able to drill a pilot hole through the bumper to get them all the way in. Otherwise, just leave the top two screws with not bottom on the rear plate.

Just picked up a used ‘21 Sahara. The plastic holes are completely stripped out on the rear bumper. Anyone got an idea for keeping the rear plate securely on? tx!
