Went to go put my rear plate on and realized there are no screws. Anyone know the specific size/type so I can go to home depot or lowes to get something?

Go to the dealer and tell them they weren't on the vehicle.

@callerys

If you are talking about 4 screws to fasten your State license plate to the plastic, rear plate holder, then I suggest getting black stainless screws.

Screw size is #12 x 3/4"

4 black stainless one's, will cost you $6.00+, but will not rust and always look great.

I went with this eBAY vendor's offering last May. He mailed them quick, they fit well ....and look terrific 10 months later.

Caution: When installing any screw into that plastic plate holder, do not over tighten the screw. It is very easy to strip out that screw hole.

Go to an auto parts store or Lowe's or anywhere. Any license plate screw will work. You're screwing into plastic not threaded metal.
I bought a cheap pair of license plate frames off Amazon and they came with screws, caps and even a cheap little screw driver.

Yes, just a "license plate screw" found at a store will do the deed. Good to go with stainless screws unless in a few months you want to be seeing rusty screws. Black stainless screws size #12x3/4" are easily acquired..

@callerys

Well, my Rubi with plastic rear bumper must be special... ;)
My JL Rubi's rear license plate, is fastened on with 4, black stainless steel #12 x 3/4" screws.

No way would I fasten my license plate on with just 2 screws....

A new JL has no threaded holes. You just poke into the plastic with the screw and tighten it..... being careful not to over tighten or you will strip the screw hole out.

Mine is the steel bumper but has soft plastic where the plate goes. Only two holes.
@callerys

See what other's here say, now that you have mentioned you have the steel rear bumper. Personally, I would fasten on with 4 fasteners if possible.

No need for AH remarks.

This guy had a valid question in regard to fastener size, etc.. No question is a stupid question.

Whatever you say @Rhinebeck01
I knew it was self tapping but wanted to make sure it was the correct size. No I don't want to sell my Jeep because I asked about the correct type/size of screw for something I should have gotten at the dealer. Thanks again everyone for the quick answer. I picked up the correct screws and all is well.
