I'm hoping you could help me trouble shoot.

Background.
Saharaha model. Last week I installed the Rubicon metal adjustable front bumper. All went well with install. After reconnecting the wiring harness the fog lights turned on. All was good.

Last night they would not turn on. No warning. No check lights.

Tried so far:
Pulled fuses F26 and F29 and reinstalled. Unhooked wiring harness to bumper and reconnected. No change/improvement.

Next steps??
Thanks

I would look over the harness really good, as it was moved around a bit during bumper install. Pull the connectors, turn on the fogs, and check the connectors with a multimeter. Good luck!

what jp52 said

each jeep is "set" for each part that it has equipped
yours was not equipped with led fogs , it may be sending the incorrect ,lets say "current flow" to the new led fogs and could have killed them
a few things u can try before going crazy
as said b4 check the plugs
check the voltage at the harness where it connects to the light.
if your not good with that or have no meter.
you can remove your old halogens from the old bumper and hook
them up without installing them, they should work .
get a jscan or tazer or goto dealer change the settings to led fog lights next time even before you install them

just my guess

FYI, I replaced halogen fog bulbs with LED bulbs in three different JLs. No frying.

In the spirit of easiest solution first, are your high beams on? IIRC, fogs are off when highs are active.

@GATORB8 has a point there - start simple , easy is almost overlooked everytime

the reason you had luck everytime , is not luck .
aftermarket bulbs have built in "resistance" so they can work with any auto they are designed for .
also aftermarkets are a good choice if they can be aimed . most aftermarket lights cant be aimed nor are they made for the type of reflector inside the housing . but they will work for sure . that is the reason i ask if you had OEM or aftermarket .

I took a recommendation from another forum member for these bulbs. Also, I’m pretty sure you cannot aim the bumper fog lights. All I can say is these work perfectly for us, the guy who recommended them, and for the other forum members and friends who have them.

I added the steel bumper with LED fogs to my non-LED JL. The lights came on once, but the next time I tried them, they stayed dark. Dealer confirmed the LED lights were bad - I must have fried them. Dealer installed new LED fogs, flashed the ECU, and all has been good.
