Flashing headlights while flat towing!

I have a 2022 Hightide that we flat tow behind our RV. Has anyone else ever noticed that the headlights will randomly flash you while flat towing behind you? I assume it's somehow related to the proximity sensors and the motion but wasn't sure, I assumed the more Jeepucated minds on this forum would have some answers. Thanks!

I have flat towed several different jeeps for thousands of miles and never seen this happen. I would question how your braking system and umbilical cable are wired in.

It's been a while since I installed all this but this was the kit I used for wiring, the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267, from E-Trailer. I also added the charge line. I don't have LED taillights but now I'm wondering if I needed one of the smart diode kits instead of the one I got. When the headlights flash it just seems to be at random not related to hitting the brakes or turn signals. It has me baffled though for sure.
