2wd is also possible with the 392s but it needs a Taser. With the price of premium up here (over $2 per liter) I think I would be looking at dropping consumption a bit. lol
While it is possible to force 2WD with a taser, it has been proven that doing so uses the canbus and when the canbus is overloaded it defaults back to 4H Auto for split seconds causing odd driving dynamics. If you have not also installed the FAD components it will cause a very brief engage / disengage action on the front axle. Just something to consider on the 392.

Ya, I dont have a Taser or a 392, but good info for those that do.

Every time I see this thread title on the list it makes me chuckle to myself a little bit. When I see "Flashing Dasher" all I can think of is a door dasher at the door with more than food to offer.

On the 4xe, if you want maximum performance you must be in 4HI Auto. This is a full time AWD mode with automatic clutch based engagement of the front axle.

If you are in 2HI, you will have significant performance penalties.

When I had my 4xe that was the mode I drove in exclusively while on pavement. When on dirt it was 4HI Part or 4LO.

With my MOAB, I have no option, it is 4HI Auto with no provision for 2HI. I am just fine with that.
for any vehicle that's equipped with it'd i'd also suggest cruising around in 4h auto. it helps off the line and you definitely notice the additional torque. if you plan on going off road be sure to swap it into 4h part time as the clutch packs wear quickly if you're relying on 4h auto with loose terrain. this is especially true in the 392

Unfortunately the issue has returned. Replacing the radio did not resolve

Can we fix the tread title? Flashing dasher made it this far? We talking about a gauge cluster or a reindeer here 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣👊🏼🍻
