For over two years now, I have been using a Sandisk Cruzer 64GB 2.0 low profile in my JL. Never an issue ...using it..... Other's here are using the same one as I am..

Here's another vote for the Sandisk Cruzer Fit.

I've been using the same 32 GB Sandisk Cruzer Fit in my 2012 JK and now my 2019 JL and I've never had a problem with it reading or playing in either my JK or JL.

I've got about 4,500 songs on it right now and it's plugged into the USB port in the Media Hub on the dash. I love that it's so small/low profile that I can almost completely close the media port access door and not even notice that it's there.

For those that want to go with a larger flash drive I did not have success with a 3.1 256gb. It would only recognize about 1/3 of the files. I first tried it as the exFAT format the thumb drive came as and it would not read anything. I reformatted to FAT32 and it recognized down to about my J directory. With that in mind we are probably limited to 64gb. On the bright side It was almost immediate quick to access and very responsive.
Our new Navigator should show soon and I will see how it fairs with the SYNC 3.
thanks for the input, i just formated in fat32 a samsung fit plus drive and now it works
