JLU Rubicon 2.0 my24
Hello everyone from Italy. For about 5-6 days, my JLU Rubicon my24 2.0 petrol hasn't started on the attempt, but on the second start it's perfect.

- It seems to me that the brake pedal doesn't have the normal run when the first start fails, but is stiffer.

- The problem happened after the first car service (4000 miles).

- It never hesitates on the second start attempt.

- It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but about 2 out of 3 times.

MY HYPOTHESES:

- Key battery is dead? It's only 1 year old! (Could the fact that the key is 3 meters from the car for 12 hours a day have an impact? I park it in front of the office, without walls, only glass...). Does the key "work" even when the Wrangler is off?

- Auxiliary battery dead? But why right after the visit to the garage for the car service...

If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it.

Mine does that sometimes (stiffer brake, fine on second attempt) and so have other vehicles I've driven. I think I knew the cause at one time, and it was some basic reason, nothing concerning

Did they do anything at the first service besides the oil change?

Nothing, only oil change and new air filter. I supposed maybe they stressed the battery for some test?

When it fails to start with the first press of the button, is the ignition in the accessory or run state?
