First service time?

Hello Jeep family. I got my 2024 wrangler two door sport weeks ago and have 1000km (621 miles) on dashboard now. I was wondering when should I take the vehicle in for its first service? I know I should wait for the notification/alert but some folks say it’s better to do it sooner for the first time. What’s your thought? Thanks

It'll trigger around 10k miles or a year. I normally do the oil around 5k miles to keep everything fresh.

I think I did my first oil change (from new) around 2.5 months with about 7k miles

Whatever the manual says is what I would recommend

Follow the manual; only thing I do differently is oil change intervals. Still do 3k/3mo whatever comes first. I’m old school and it’s my money.

I'd suggest bringing it in for an oil change rotate at 5k and then every 5k thereafter.
