Service Manual

I just want to throw this out there. Mopar Tech Authority used to offer the service manual on USB and it's no longer available. Multiple people, including myself, have tried registering on their new subscription service and the site is broken. We have the right to repair, but are left to fend for ourselves. In 2021, I found a new old stock Service Manual in disc form on ebay, and it covers everything except the diesel engine. For anyone familiar, it requires Windows, Internet Explorer, and ActiveX to work. These are obsolete programs, but most browsers offer some backward compatibility or plugins for this to work. I have made a few copies for members of the community, and received feedback that the service manual works. Only one Mac user said it was worthless and implied I sold him a "bootleg copy at a premium."

All that info is clearly stated on Tech Authorities website.

I asked for $40 which covers my time and materials, and priority shipping with tracking. These were $153 when the USB was available, and I paid more than that for the disc.

If it is like any of the older USB/CD manuals I have bought, a Mac requires virtualization software (Parallels) with an install of Windows, preferably an old version prior to the Edge browser. The newer versions will royally piss you off as they continually try (and fail) to open it in the Edge browser even after you've repeatedly told it to always open it in Internet Explorer. It is like it thinks you might have changed your mind since the last time. The old PDF manuals that were identical to the printed ones were so much better.

Yes, 100%. But certainly not at a premium, I am practically giving them away. Another member said they bought a cheap used laptop to run it, which would be a good alternative to Apple gymnastics.
