I just put it on new wheels & tires. Yesterday I was invited to have a conversation with local law enforcement about my speed. Turns out I was 5 faster than I thought.

If I use the Tazer to adjust my wheel/tire size and fix my speedometer, will those changes remain even if i disconnect the Tazer from the data port?

Changing tire size is not a "Live Feature" so you would not need to keep the TazerJL or companion gateway module plugged in all the time. (Changing tire size corrects your speedometer)

So, you would install the TazerJL and the companion gateway module.... then you would marry the TazerJL to your JLU..... then you would do your programming. After the programming you can remove the TazerJL and the gateway module.
----

About Live Features:

IF you want to enable and disable / use, "Live Features", yes, you do need to leave plugged in.

For a list of Features and Live features, read here: https://www.zautomotive.com/zpu/instructions/TazerJLUserGuide1103.pdf

By the way, when you read what the Live Features are, you will probably want to be able to use them. I'd say a very large majority of TazerJL user's leave the TazerJL and companion gateway module plugged in all the time for this reason.

----
Note: It is recommended to temporarily, unmarry the TazerJL and remove the TazerJL and companion gateway module when you take the vehicle to the dealership's service department.

After some more key cycles and hours passed by, the 11.0.5 features are behaving better on mine. Everything is now working as it should. I'm happy with it.

Anyone messed with the Gear Ratios?
I’ve added 35x12.50R18 Nittos on my Sport S, so in addition to the tire info changes, I’m wondering if I should adjust the ratio.

Went back to 11.0.3 All working normal again. Screen boots up like it did before the update and does not shut down.
