I am trying to help a friend with her JL Sport. She went to get emissions test, but they couldn't hook up the machine- no readings. Apparently a fuse is blown, but do not know which. I found the fuse map and diagram online and in the owner's manual... but not sure if it is an NOx sensor, or the generic ECM (Engine Control Module.

They are easy enough to pull out and look, but there are a lot of fuses- it looks like a miniature New York City skyline... I don't want to mess anything up. I am looking for guidance if anyone has had the issue or can provide some constructive feedback before taking to a mechanic. Appreciate your support...

This is an easy check. The fuse map is on the inside of cover. You are even supplied with a yellow fuse puller tool and spare fuses too. Just pull the fuse of interest and hold up to the light. If you see a gap, it's blown.
