Hi all. My jeep rubicon fenders are at different heights, I can’t find anything online about adjusting them. Any help with this would be appreciated. I included pics. Wondering if one is not a rubicon fender as I bought it used

There’s no adjustment that Im aware of. The retaining clips can only attach to the fender one way, and only snap into the body one way. Pretty sure you have a non-rubicon fender. Any accident history or other indications of a repair or replacement.

There is one highline/rubicon flare and the other is a standard flare. There is no adjustment. If you bought it that way warranty will fix it. If you put the flares on afterwards try and get your money back from where you bought them.

Thanks. Unfortunately I bought it used about a year ago. I assumed it was just an adjustment issue, even asked a Jeep guy if they were adjustable and he said yes

I guess then you could order 1 paintable Rubicon fender from the dealer then have it paint matched and installed on the driver's side.

As mentioned, different trim packages have different heights and the heights are not made to be adjustable. You have one Rubicon and one non-Rubicon (probably a Sahara). You can tell it is a Rubicon fender by the height and also the indentation on the Rubicon fender for the hood latch (see pic below). My guess is that the original driver side fender was damaged and replaced with the non-Rubicon version. If that is the case, I would look closely behind the fender to see if there is any other damage.

Any accidents on the Carfax, or accident damage?

Mistakes like that happen at the factory, but that is wild that no one caught it until now if that was the case.

My bet, it was damaged and someone threw on a junkyard fender from a Sahara.

You need a new Rubicon "High Line" fender and paint matched,

While something like that could happen at the factory, it would be very unlikely.

As mentioned my guess would be that the driver's side fender was damaged at some point in time and replaced. Assuming you could get that same color on other (non-Rubicon) models they probably grabbed one from the junkyard and bolted it on. You could look for a used one in the junkyard but may be tough to find since these are paint matched and specifically for a Rubicon. You could buy a new one and have it painted (you need to get a "paint to match" style and not the basic black plastic ones), or maybe find a fender in the junkyard that is the wrong color and have it painted. I would check with a body shop and see how much that would cost.
