There is a threat here all about JL bumpers - quick search should pull it up. While there are many household names still working on releasing bumper, there are numerous options available now other than the RC bumper.
I just got my husky mat today. Overall I like it and it's nice, but definitely not as thick/heavy duty as I had hoped. I had the quadratec mats for my JK and it at best half as thick as that. If you're looking for a cargo mat with some heft to it, I would hold out. If not, husky isn't a bad...
Hmm yeah that seems to a little different from my situation. Did you check the fuse box to make sure they're all seated properly? Not sure if that's going to help any but it'd be good to do regardless (considering basically everyone that's checked has had like a dozen that weren't fully seated)...
Update: So I went to the dealership yesterday and asked them specifically about this sound (amongst other issues), and they said this is a normal oddity for manual JLs. So there it is - one less thing to worry about.
Thank you @JeepCares! I will send you a PM.
Taking it to the dealership tomorrow - will provide an update soon.
That's relieving to hear. I dont know if I would prefer your scenario or just a simple "faulty x" so it's a clean solution/peace of mind. But I have been driving around the past...
I feel your pain - my keep literally just froze and stalled out in the middle of the road yesterday. I guess such are the woes of being an early adopter of any FCA product. It's just so nice though lol
I loled so hard at this.....sorry. Sucks that it doesn't just slide out like the ones on the JK - sucks even harder that those marketing clowns deceived you. This definitely makes those dust/lint/trash magnets harder to clean.
Good review. Don't have anything against the mopar ones, just think they are geared more towards leather seats since it comes with a mat for the gap cover. I came very close to pulling the trigger on the mopar ones but I wanted a more "tray" style one for the cargo area (like the quadratec one I...
For rubber, Mopar (if you have leather) or Husky (if you have cloth). Otherwise, size to fit any brand's generic one. Those are pretty much all your options right now until more hit the market.
