If your goal is simply to protect the fenders, you could go with regular clear PPF.

However, I'm sure if you reached out to PixelDecals, they would be more than happy to create something like what's pictured in the link you provided. PixelDecals does great work; myself and many others on the forum have used their products.

Too late the damage is done (my son opened the door, and our dog was so excited that he jumped out... the problem was he was still attached to his harness and that scratched the rear flare). I need something thick enough so that the scratch doesn't telegraph though.

I have used this stuff on all kinds of vehicles. It is a little tough to cut clean so you need to be patient. It is even removable if needed last forever. just make sure you prep the surface and you have no sharp edges that can curl up. I have a roll in my shop and it is on my to do list, just haven't made to the top yet.

Ok so I was working out in the shop and ran across that roll of material. Took a stab at making some sort or rock guard for the rear fenders . I roughed one out to test just for basic idea. The materiel i had left was old and it was a bit to cold tonight for the vinyl to work with.
I think it a doable thing with some cleaner cuts. This stuff is great if they get beat up just peel them off and replace them .

Just saw that one of our new sponsors here is selling pre-cut clear PPF guards for the rear fenders. Though I think it's only designed to adhere to painted fenders. About the same price as the Japanese ones you posted..
