does anybody make something like this that's easily available in the US?

If your goal is simply to protect the fenders, you could go with regular clear PPF.

However, I'm sure if you reached out to PixelDecals, they would be more than happy to create something like what's pictured in the link you provided. PixelDecals does great work; myself and many others on the forum have used their products.

Too late the damage is done (my son opened the door, and our dog was so excited that he jumped out... the problem was he was still attached to his harness and that scratched the rear flare). I need something thick enough so that the scratch doesn't telegraph though.

Ok so I was working out in the shop and ran across that roll of material. Took a stab at making some sort or rock guard for the rear fenders . I roughed one out to test just for basic idea. The materiel i had left was old and it was a bit to cold tonight for the vinyl to work with.
I think it a doable thing with some cleaner cuts. This stuff is great if they get beat up just peel them off and replace them .
