Hello everyone. Thank you for the admission to the forum.

My wife has wanted a Wrangler for 20 years and we were finally able to purchase a new JL this past March. We wanted to lift it and put larger wheels and tires on it and love the look for the new Mopar 2.5" lift coupled with the Fuel Beast (20x12) and Toyo Open Country MT (35x12.5) wheels and tires. I don't mind that the tires stick out past the fenders but in order to protect the paint and to get a little bit more tire coverage (in case the police or DOT don't like the look at much as I do) I am looking for some fender extensions. The only thing that I have been able to find are these (https://americancarcraft.com/products/tactical-fender-flares-07-18-jeep-wrangler-jk). I reached out to the nice folks at American Car Craft - they aren't making them for the JL yet and hope to in the future. In the mean time I wanted to ask if anyone here is aware of another option.

I look forward to your consideration and responses. Again, thank you for admission to the community.

Rubicon fenders are not only higher, but also wider.

Rokblokz mudflaps, problem solved!
They stick past the Rubicon fenders by about another inch or two depending on size.

You should see the insane prices we pay for Jeep parts to be shipped to Australia too!
I feel your pain, we get hit hard here in Canada and I live 70kms from the border. Between the exchange and the "brokerage" fees/duty, every order that comes by UPS, FedEx and DHL are about 30% more on delivery. Free trade my ass.

Hello Gents,

I am installing the Recon extensions on a 2018 JL Sahara. The fronts installed rather easily but now I understand the Sahara fenders are not as wide as the rubicon fenders the extensions are designed to fit. I will trim the rear extensions to fit the Sahara fender but need advice on a trimming technique before I pull out the chainsaw. I will trim the fat rear end of the flare as it is lower and more out of the line of sight than the top. I am also at the mercy of the bend in the flare for fit purposes. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hey, did you ever finish installing these extensions on the rear? How did it come out? I'm looking to do the exact same thing as I have a bit too much poke and it's kicking up a lot of rocks. Thx.
