Falcon shocks worth that wait?

Has something changed? As of a couple month ago Falcon Shocks were all made in house in Utah.

I might be wrong on that one, but most of their other parts are manufactured overseas.

I previously had custom tuned Fox 2.5 DSC from Accutune. I now have the Falcon SP2 3.3 quick adjust. The Falcons feel better and they are a couple thousand dollars less.

I just got those Falcon shocks from Amazon a few weeks ago. Try there.....

You would be the first ever that I have heard doing this. I know personally 2 and heard of plenty of others that got rid of their Falcons for Fox and one went to Kings. I am not a shock guru at all but from experiences the Falcons are a level below and I have never (well until now) heard someone going from Fox or King to Falcons.

Couple thousand less? What shocks are we talking about here? Never mind that the Fox’s are rebuildable so they’re a lifetime shock. Sure the Falcons are “rebuildable” but they have to be sent to the factory. I mean to each their own but Fox and King have been leading the industry for decades.

I see you said 2.5 DSC, not really a fair comparison there. You would be the only person I’ve ever heard of that got rid of those shocks and prefer the Falcons.

I understand this seems like it shouldn't make sense, but how many people do you know that went from custom tuned Fox 2.5 DSC to the new Falcon SP2 3.3 quick adjust shocks?
I have no skin in the game. There's absolutely no reason for me to make up a stupid story like this.
I've had Fox, King, Icon, Falcon, and others. I'm just saying that at this time the current Falcon SP2s are the most comfortable shocks I've had on one of my rigs.
People rave about King but Fox are better for wear and tear and for not rusting out. Don't believe me? Give AccuTune a call and ask. I've had many conversations with AccuTune and others over the years.
And for the cost, yes the Fox cost almost $3,000 from AccuTune dnd the Falcons cost about $1600.

As far as rebuilding the Fox and Falcon? I don't think Falcon will sell you the parts to rebuild but they might if you ask them.
And for rebuilding your shocks on your own? 99.8% of people will not do it. It's time consuming, messy, and it's not that expensive to have a pro shop rebuild them for you.
(Just for the ones reading this later and not knowing what DSC is) Fox DSC is there best production shock dual speed compression adjustment. You can adjust both the low and high speed so it's more adjustable than the Falcon and most other shocks.

They are all made in house. You can see a video of theirs where they show all of their manufacturing and tooling equipment. It's pretty impressive. TeraFlex has been growing their shock building equipment over the years. If not already, they will eventually be 100% made in house in Utah. And the Falcon shocks are the only ones that are made specifically for the Jeep Wrangler because TeraFlex says they couldn't find the perfect shock, so they started making them.
