I have a 392 XR that I plan on slapping the MC game changer on this winter. However, I have the opportunity to get the falcon 3.3 quick adjust shocks for a 2-4.5" lift. If I get these, can I slap them on right away or wait until I get the lift? Would it hurt the shocks, affect the ride quality, flex....? but most importantly....would I be cooler driving it and get new sunglasses too.......

I have those on my Jeep, not a 392, and I did add two inches of bump stop extension. Since yours is an XR I would bet you won’t need to do anything to the bump stops. They work great, you’ll like them.

I usually keep mine set at 2.2 with the SP2 set on cold/soft. Gives a comfy controlled ride.

Eta. The compressed lengths are 18 inches for the front and 19 1/8 inches for the rears.

The xr is taller so it should be okay. With the shorter variants I would say no only because you wouldn’t want to bottom the shock out

Is the shock long enough to worry about dropping a spring?
