Hey folks, maybe this goes in another place, but I am stumped. I am working on a 2018 JL Rubicon unlimited that was in a wreck. Both Impact and water damage. I have been through a fair amount of the wiring and have had to replace both the body control module as well as the occupancy restraint module. I now have it running and drivable, but the 4-wheel drive does not engage. More specifically the FAD actuator is not shifting the collar over to engage both the inner and outer passenger side shafts. I have a second axle and have pulled the FAD actuator off of it and still no dice. I have pulled the actuator apart and applied power to the motor itself and am able to move the fork both in and out. I've chased the wiring back to the connector at the passenger rear wheel well and continuity tests do not indicate any broken wires. Am I at the point of ordering a new actuator or is there some other testing that I need to look at to accurately diagnose the issue. As a side question, is there cross talk from the FAD to the front locker? I assume that the Front Locker won't engage unless the Position sensor for the FAD is in the engaged position. I apologize for the long-winded question, but I would appreciate any help you all may have.
