I have done some research (maybe not enough) to see what is available for upgrading the factory fog lights from white to amber or yellow so they actually work in the fog.
I have a 2022 Willy's the factory LED fog lights and would like to upgrade them to amber.
In the past I applied a heat resistant amber plastic membrane over the lens, but the factory fog lights are somewhat convex (rounded outward); so applying the amber plastic on the lens will not work.
I found a Forum member that has amber fog lights that appear to be factory replacements.
Anyone know who makes them or where to buy them ?

I have the diode dynamics elite fog light replacement and the ss3 max both are great can’t go wrong with either option. I like the elite since they look similar to stock led headlights.

I have diode dynamics elite in the clear / smoked lens. They work fine in the fog. But yes the are drop in replacements.

about $20 from Amazon...need to use a heat gun to smooth the film over the convex lens of the OEM light...I'm on a fixed income...can't afford the high end stuff...MUST remove light housing from bumper to do it correctly...stick/start at the center and work your way toward the edges...lots of screws! ...hth.

I used some film from the computer / 3d printer crowd. It's a yellow film with a sticky backing. I forget the name, but several layers of this stuff worked fine on both the original halogen fogs, and also on the LED fogs on our car. It does end up with some wrinkles from the curvature, but from a small distance nobody notices it.

White LED bulbs can require more than one layer of film to wipe out the green tint.

I went with Baja Designs SAE fogs in amber, and added some film to make it less yellow. I suspect that DD fogs already come amber enough and would not need any additional film.

The BD fogs are nice, but if I had to do it over again I would probably use the original halogen housing with some amber DD bulbs inside, especially since they have newer bulbs, but there was a concern with interference with GMRS radio. No interference with BD fogs.

Since you already have LED fogs I'd start with the film and see what you think. Unless you want brighter fogs. BD and DD fogs will probably be brighter than the stock LED fogs.

I’ll jump in on the Diode Dynamics SS3s too. I have them on my Jeep. I was so impressed that I put a set on my truck too.

Mine are white, but they sell yellow lenses for a fair price. It’s nice to be able to replace the lenses when they get pitted or cracked.
