I have ordered my Rubicon 4xe and i have a question regarding getting the outlined white letters on the standard tire. When I ordered the Jeep the dealer told me that they'll just switch the tires inside out to show the white lettering on the outside. I went to another dealer this weekend and they had both the black letter tire and the white letter tire on Wranglers for sale on their lot. The black letter tires did not have white lettering on the inside.

Somebody help me out to educate my dealer. What do they need to do on my order sheet to ensure I get the white lettering on the standard on-road/off-road tire without upgrading to the pure off-road tires?

On our ‘21 JLUR that we are waiting for, we paid for $295 option. That said I believe most of the tires have OWL on one aide. They probably could check but may charge you the labour to change it since you didn’t get the factory option.

The Rubicon build I did online show 3 options. BSW and OWL are no charge and MT is $195.

north53, I believe those are actually off-road tires, not the KO2s. I just wanted the KO2s with white lettering. Also, when I went to the dealer the KO2s I found on a Rubicon for sale, had black lettering on both sides.

Thanks CpT Papa. I see that you are in the USA. In Canada we do not have that option.
This is what we see on Jeep Canada:

I think your dealer is probably wrong. Most tires have directions when you put on, therefore you can't just turn it inside out. If Canadian builder does not show white lettering, i don't think you can do anything. Jeep may not be offering it to Canada any more

Weird that they list them that way since BFG AT KO2s are either blackwall or RWL (raised white letter). Some other lines of BFGs are OWL (outline white letter).

not all tires are directional. a lot of off road oriented tires can be mounted in any direction. obviously once you start using them, you should keep them wearing in the same orientation.

I looked at my tires today, and they are not directional. Also, they don't have white letters inside (just black letters again)

They will only be white lettering on one side and black on the other side with OWL. The standard build will be black both sides.

I also thought OWL stands for optional white lettering LOL
