I've bought and sold stuff on FB Marketplace often. You can get some really great deals on there.

My recommendation when buying on FB is to *only* do local pickup, cash pay, meet at a public location (QT/big gas station, police station, etc).

If you are on a computer, you can use google lens (or search for image) to see if the image is stolen from another listing.

Ones with names like that are always (almost always?) a scam.

SCAM! wont take paypal (consumer protections) said "his homie" had paypal gave his phone number to call and would take 1/2 now and the rest after delivery!! claims now to be in Las Vegas Nv. backgrounds in the pictures seem to be from different areas/ climates in some item pictures.

besides many of the things he is selling would cost more to ship thAn the item itself!! (gladiator bed, or hard top 1500 shipped! WTF???

Obvious red flag. Especially when the names are unrelated. If it's a legitimate business the contact info had better be included and verifiable.
