Oh Really.. That bad seriously lol
Fab Fours is associated with the mall crawler all show crowd usually and Ive not heard the best things about quality vs price.

I'd recommend the Cabfab tire carrier, I run it and their diff covers and the quality is top notch and price is right.

Seems a lot of people are liking the CavFab tire carrier.. Do you think Teraflex or Cavfab carrier is better for strength or/or no rattles.

Can't help you with the FabFours. I don't run anything from them. But, if you're looking for comparisons, LOD makes the same style of rear bumper. Once you select comparable options, it's about the same price. The LOD also has a lot more attachment options if you think you'll use them.

I have the full width version and generally like it. It rattles at the attachment point to the rear door and I've never been able to adjust it enough to help it much. But it's sturdy. I've landed on the hitch mount more than once and it takes a beating.

All that being said, unless you're planning to run 40" or larger tires, a tailgate reinforcement, like Teraflex or the Cabfab mentioned above, might be a better option.

They both will be about the same. My dad has the Teraflex and likes it well enough and has never complained about rattles. I will say the Cavfab seems to close much better than any other one Ive seen out there though with zero sag at the hinges.

My friend put the Teraflex on. It was a pain to install but I really like the simplicity of the design compared to the LOD. The only complaint he has had with it has to do with the Hi-Lift mount accessory. The Hi-Lift contacts the plastic bumper when the rear door is opened all the way and it is super close to the rear window when you open that up. It all works fine but the design leaves no room for error.

The cavfab comes with the brackets for the license plate on the carrier, you just need to wire tag lights to them.

Also dont forget the 10% forum discount code, I believe its still jlwranglerforums.

I personally dont like the look of the license plate in the middle of the spare tire. I want one that will let me put it back on the bumper.
And thank you so much for reminding me about the discount code lol
