I have an '18. I did the U-Connect update myself. In 45,000 miles I've only been able to access my off-road page... once...

I also have a 2018 Rubicon with the 8.4”. But they didn’t give it to me automatically. I had to take it to the dealership and guide them with TSB before they figured out how to do it. It has worked flawless since the dealer update/install of the Off Road Pages that was completed over 2 years ago. Should not be an issue for you as you never had it and it is a well documented issue with the 2018’s. Do not let them pull the out of warranty crap as it is a simple update. Thanks will do! No more warranty 63k now but had a ton of engine issues should have been upgraded then going to see if I can sell the idea wish me luck! ?
There are some classic threads here from 2018 with people wanting to launch lawsuits and what not because nobody over at FCA would tell anyone anything at the time. People acted like they were dying without it or claimed it was one of the biggest reasons they bought a Rubicon, but felt they now had a lesser vehicle. And when it finally came out and people realized it was pretty much as useless as most of us suspected, the fervor died pretty quick. You may be correct. I have a 2018 Rubicon with the 8.4”. But they didn’t give it to me automatically. I had to take it to the dealership 3 times before they figured out how to do it.
Pretty much, yeah. ORP is just extra data already available in the instrument cluster organized on the UConnect display. It doesn't offer any modes or functions typically found in Performance Pages on other FCA vehicles. Is this "off road pages"? I assumed ORP was some sort of GPS for off road trails or something like that.? Screens below are just listed under vehicle information on my replacement 10" Stinger head unit.

This is now making more sense. I've skimmed through the older threads on this topic and what you are saying is logical.I could be mistaken, but I think ORP was originally supposed to be a Rubicon only feature, but it wasn't available when the JL debuted. It took well over half a year for it to appear on radios and by the time that happened, Jeep just decided to give it to everyone with the 8.4 after screwing up the launch.
I can see why a lot of people were irritated. There are some classic threads here from 2018 with people wanting to launch lawsuits and what not because nobody over at FCA would tell anyone anything at the time. People weren't wrong for being upset, but I personally never found ORP to be nothing more than a gimmick. I totally dig Pitch and Roll, but it works just fine in the instrument cluster and I can still leave navigation or Android Auto open on the UConnect display.FCA made a big deal of Jeep’s Off-Road Pages, and Dodge’s Performance Pages, during the vehicle launches, press reveals, drive and rides, etc., generating a lot of anticipation. Only to find out after you bought the vehicle that the stupid apps barely work half the time, and neither FCA nor the dealers give a hoot.
It wouldn't surprise me they actually took the time to update sales codes to eliminate it as an option from the Sahara to make the HA package more appealing, but if you get a solid dealership and yours doesn't have it, there's no harm in asking them to flash an update that includes it and see what they say.So every indication that Jeep is giving suggests that the ORP is NOT included for the Sahara except for the High Altitude package.

You can do that in the Uconnect Nav.I have the 8.4" screen and have the off-road pages.
Wasn't there a feature that you could use to track/record your route when off-roading? or did i dream that up?
