I'm in need of a part number for a replacement camera and camera mount bracket that goes inside the extended "snout" tire carrier of the extreme recon tire package.

Everything I've searched all I can come up with is the oem standard cameras that is secured with 3 torx screws and mounted in the stock tire carrier with the shorter camera snout.

The extended camera snout secures the camera with a small beacket within the mount and that bracket is fastened to the snout with one screw.

I'm hoping someone has a part number for that camera and the bracket.

Hi Bill,
If you have a front camera option (XNY) use camera 4672852AB, If you do Not then use camera 4672916AB

The camera cap is 68540489AA

The actual snout is part of the tire carrier assembly.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
-Benny

I don't don't have the front camera. On the rear I currently have the stock short snout tire carrier but I'm wanting to change that out to the longer snout.

I just need the rear camera and the bracket that the camera is secured to and then fastened to the snout.

Thank you Benny @AllMoparParts.com

One last question and I'll let you be. My search of the internet and youtube indicates that backup camera part # 4672916AB is secured to the snout/tire carrier with a small bracket that is fastened with one screw. If I order the backup camera without the complete tire carrier will the camera come with the securing bracket?P

No not the bezel. Inside the snout of the newer tire carrier (maybe like 22 to present) there is a hardware piece that secures the camera within the snout and that hardware piece is fastened to the snout with one screw. I wish I could show you a picture of it I found on YouTube but I can't seem to figure out how to upload that picture on this thread.

Probably isn't something I can buy by itself. Probably got to buy the whole tire carrier but I figure I'd ask anyhow.

Im pretty sure this bracket is part of the carrier assembly. Based on similar camera images I see online the camera will not include anything else.

He is talking about the small bracket inside the snout that camera mounts to. Not the external cover. As for being available separately, that is a good question. I don't have that camera myself. I only have a spare carrier/ w/ extended snout that has it. As I had planned to add the factory trail cam at some point and didn't know if I would need to change to the other camera type. I don't know if it has a part number on it or not. I would have to take the one I have in storage out and take it apart to look.

Thanks Benny. I figured it was something I couldn't just buy separately. Guess when the camera arrives I'll just have to fabricate (juryrig) one up myself.

Hey I’m in the same exact boat. Were you able to figure it out? If so what’d you use in place of the bracket?
