How do you find the side rack when off road on the narrow bush tracks?

Nothing significantly different with the side mount, it doesn't stick out much from the rear fender flares.

Wondering what solutions people are using to carry extra fuel for a longer trips besides jerry cans inside the car.

I built my own mount with a 2'x3' piece of plexiglass and some 3D printed clips to hang off the rain gutter on the JL hardtop and cleats that secure it to the bottom.

I am thinking about going into production but I only have a 2 door JL so I don't know the exact measurements of the back side window of a 4 door JL hardtop. I actually need to know the exact distance between the rain gutter and the bottom of the hardtop (front, middle and back). On the 2 door the distance between the rain gutter and the bottom of the hardtop is 5mm narrower at the back than it is at the front.

Any help would be appreciated.

Both L.R.A and longranger have JL auxiliary tanks.
I have L.R.A tanks in both my JK and my WK2 however
not very happy with the way the JK one works so think
I will fit a longranger to my JLUR when it fin arrives

talking with the guys at LRA (American - Utah) that imort the LRA (Australian) tanks, the long ranger is very similar to the LRA tank. Specs are the same for thickness (2mm aluminised steel) as well as capacity 70L.

I tried to get pricing from the longranger before ordering my LRA tank. After 2 weeks of hassle, I ordered the LRA. It was delivered within 7 days, and total price was $2250, with extra shipping due to a farm/residential address.

The installation was easy. I have only added 5 Gal. of fuel so far, as I wanted to test a full empty of the primary, and then transferring fuel and testing how the tanks refill, etc.

The problem with the LRA tank in my JK is it reuses the
original charcoal vent and with the extra tank on hot days
if fumes badly and also vapor locks preventing fuel
transfer. it only happens when ambient temps are over
around 40degC however for me that is about 1/2 the year.
also the longranger is available with 4mmbottom so it
doesn’t dent as easily as the 2mm LRA tank.
