Okay, so I'm at 1200 miles with the 24 Sport I got a couple weeks ago. Settling nicely and becoming quite familair.

Its a manual and the exhaust/engine are too damn silent. If I have the top down and music pumping I cant hear what the drivetrain is doing, I can somewhat go by what can feel through my feet in the floor boards Stevie Wonder style, but I'm not comfortable with that.

I'm looking for reccomendations on exhausts that are not obnoxious, but can be clearly heard in the cabin through wind noise and Cory Taylor kindly telling me I Equal Shit.

I put a muffler delete on mine. It's all subjective though. Some exhausts sound good, others sound like crap. Just go to extreme terrain that has videos and watch/listen.

I've got the Red Rock dual exhaust on my 22 Rubicon and it sounds great. They are reasonable priced (about half of Magnaflow) and simple to install.

Gotta use all senses to shift huh.

Engine screaming? Check.
Needle bouncing the redline? Check.
Getting 2 to the gallon? Check.
Black smoke smelling up the soft top? Check.

Salemen: Sir, we'd love to do a trade on your JL, but you said you didn't smoke in it. We clearly smell smoke.

Me: I dont, I finally shifted to Second.

Thanks, Ill check that out.

Is it a 3.6? If so, Magnaflow off-road series will tuck the exhaust nicely and sounds decent.

if it’s a 2.0, no matter what exhaust it will turn from a lawn mower to a fart rocket.

I’m looking at that Red Rock axle back too. I like the looks of the dual tail pipes and the Install looks doable, even for my limited mechanics experience.

Start with muffler delete because it’s the cheapest and will likely do what you're looking for. The cat and resonators are sufficient.

Oooo, I like free. Any good videos of what this sounds like?

I gotta check my state laws on this too. Been so long since I've done car inspections and what not that I don't remember if its required. About 95% sure I dont need for inspection.

Is this what you're talking about? Sounds good, looks like a cake install too.

Hello Greg, I've been running the MBRP, 2.5" 304-Stainless, Cat-Back, Race Profile (Above Frame Clearence) w/Turn Down Exit for 20k miles on my 3.6L Manual Trans 2020 JLUR and would have no other exhaust. The sound with your foot in the throttle is awesome. Also sounds great when double clutching for a down shift. Cruising is still audible though easily spoken over.
