Typically the VIN has to be written to the PCM (ECM). I am not sure if a ‘22 computer would be able to take a ‘26 VIN or not.

It might also be that the PCM ships without a program and part of the marriage process is to load the vehicle specific engine calibration which could be year specific.

These are all questions I would want answered before buying a replacement PCM.

But, it might be good to have a spare PCM that has been cracked so a custom tune could be applied.

I’d gladly pay $1,000 if there was a guaranteed fix for this noise.

I tried the LLJ bypass harness for the ANC.

It did not reduce the sound, possibly (but not positive) increased the sound levels.

I still plan to disconnect the sub just to isolate that source.

I really think it is the fuel cut in the PCM map.

Does anyone have an aftermarket tune and did that have any impact on the sound levels during deceleration between 2,000 rpm and 1,500 rpm?

The bypass harness was entirely ineffective for me too.

I concur. Mostly likely fuel cut parameters in the PCM.

Anyone modify these fuel cut parameters with their tune?
