I had a hunch that the 48v alternator wouldn't be enough to keep the lithium battery buried in this thing decently charged in the 10-20 minute long drives I do.
I just took the charger off of my motorcycle (rip my little triumph) and slapped it on the Jeep to see how she does.
That ESS (or ASS as I prefer to call it) is handy in the terrible traffic on my way to work.
I have the e-torque, if that makes any difference.
