Jeep Wrangler JL electrical issues, dtc codes lost powering steering, stuck on acc mode IMG_9887

@JeepCares 2019 wrangler jl sport 2 door manual. 68,000miles. started with flashing abs light 2months ago with then start stop not working( given i replaced the aux battery 3 months before this happened) delearship said both batteries needed replaced so i did that. moving forward 2 weeks agos i got all these codes .ran the scanner because i got my dash lit up with every warning you can possibly imagine. every time it happened it wouldnt let me turn it over to off but wound turn over to acc.while making a weird noise(video attached) .finally it will turn over to off…one day on the turnpike the jeep did this but this time i lost my
power steering. i called the dealership and they now have the jeep and i have a rental. i also found a sensor with a white wire hanging . any thoughts . i bought the jeep brand new .what a sad story for me

Clear everything and when the issue occurs see what is active. The connector you linked *appears* to be for one of the oxygen sensors, but I can't say for sure from the angle. There aren't any codes indicating it either. It definitely seems there's an issue with the electric vacuum pump/brake pedal sensor based on your symptoms and DTCs, but there's a lot of extra stuff in there that's probably unrelated.

Clear codes, drive until issue happens, and scan the vehicle then. Also, are you driving with a Tazer or anything plugged into the diagnostic port?

@JeepCares ….dealership just called me over 50 codes for communication. they cleared the codes and put so far 100miles on the jeep without being about to yet produce the flashing dashboard .no codes have popped up yet after clearing it. they are going to continue to put miles on it till the codes pop up again. what a nightmare

I have this same issue, the same as thousands of Jeep owners. Pass on the info when you find out. I'm about to name mine BOAT. Bust Out Another Thousand.

What's that going to do? They are ran by the big 3. This won't help anyone until people are killed when their power steering quites and the roll over.

I'm sorry to hear that. The DLR is a horrible shop for repairs. Kids that change oil and do simple fixes. Try your CanBus Block behind the glove box. Green and white blocks. Check every inch of wiring you can find. Check your batteries after it sits. Just check and replace what you can. And find a actual technician. I feel your pain brother. But not giving up.

they checked all the connectors pulled every pin out. made sure all the sensors and connectors were corrosion free.they called Chrysler and they said it could be multiple things . dealership said they hope it was just a loose connector that they accidently fixed while checking all them.heres the dtc

I had all of those also. But after replacing the canbus blocks and checking the connectors. (To see if the glove box pulled on the wires) The only messages I have is power steering. But my power steering is still working. So I started out cheap and will take it to a actual tech soon once I'm sure it's only power steering. Waiting to make sure these codes don't change and no new ones pop up.

Similar issues and replaced batteries, seated all fuses, cleaned and tightened all grounds that I could find, checked wiring harness, replaced CANBUS, disconnected radio, HVAC, doors, tazer and all aftermarket accessories to rule out short, and in the end, it was the power steering pump causing all my problems. I replaced it and so far, no other issues.

If you disconnect the bottom plug on the pump (as there are two, one sits over the other) and if it clears all your codes except the power steering pump, then most likely that is your culprit.

this was my experience....

Did you change out your Can bus blocks yet. Do that. It's a simple replacement. Because if it's not a Can bus it could be a spring clock collar in your steering column. But with everything else happening, I would do the Can bus behind the glove box.
