I have a 2023 jeep wrangler Sahara altitude with approximately 4700 miles on it. I flat tow the jeep behind our motorhome. On a recent trip, I did not have any issues until the weather got warmer. I had a message come up, auxiliary switches, not available battery charging. The stop start function was not ready. The car continue to start and run as normal with the exception of the stop start function. The last part of our trip was approximately three hours. Upon arriving home, the jeep would not start. the battery was dead. Upon getting this issue resolved, the stop start function is still not ready. Upon taking it into the dealership, everything seems to check out, but they cannot get rid of the stop start issue. Any advice?

Did you recharge your old battery or replace it with a new one?

You might need to manually re-charge your battery or drive it long enough to fully charge it before the start stop functions again.

Maybe the motion when you are towing the Jeep continually activates the system since your FOB is close by, and drains the batteries? (I seem to recall something in this forum about that.)

Is disconnecting the battery cables an option when you are flat towing the Jeep, and would that prevent that (if that is what is happening)?

Recharge batteries. Or get new ones. As the Jeep is awake while it is being pulled That’s what is happening

It is still at the dealership. They said everything checked out. They went through all the necessary steps and everything is checking out as normal. They are not receiving any error codes with the exception of stop start not ready. They said that they are going to have to call the engineers on Monday?
