Ebrake button malfunction

So I go to pull the ebrake when I parked the jeep. as I full it up and call it a day out pops the ebrake button flying across the jeep. Looks like my first warranty issue ugh.... beware of it popping off un-expectantly. It startled me when it first happened as I had no idea what just happened other than something went flying. luckily I was able to push it back in to release said ebrake but it clearly is broken..
