What trails are you guys running? I just did a EJS pre-run of Hells Roaring Canyon. Not very technical but a great view at the end.

I have never done Hells Roaring Canyon, need to check it out.

I have only missed 2 Jeep Safari's since 1999. (I am old now, gah!!)
2008, my son was born.
2020, COIVD. But I do have the "collectible" shirts from that year, since everyone made them and we couldn't go. LOL

Awesome! I really enjoyed the Trifecta but oof was it a long day and we only had a group of 4.

I'm planning to go back to Moab next year and do Metal Masher, Steel Bender and Top Of The World.

Hell's Roaring Canyon is bumpy at times but I think rated 3. We tagged along to help with maintenance but the trail was in pretty good shape. We stacked some rocks at the bottom of a big ledge to help those with 33s who will be there during EJS. We also cleared a few big rocks from the trail along Hells Roaring Rim but otherwise trail was good to go.

Hopefully after this trip we will have satisfied the badge fiend and can plan for some scenic runs. I think it would be a blast to help setup before the madness - thanks for making it better for all of us!

The good news is you're going to great great views along the BOH trails as well. I remember Hell's Revenge having some really cool views. The Trifecta also had some nice overlooks. I wish I had taken more pictures that day but just no time at all. We just made it back as the sun was going down and was airing up in the dark.

TBH I’m a little worried about being stuck in the dark but these folks know what they are doing I guess so hopefully we can get done somewhat timely.

I love moab probably more than any wheeling destination on the planet and EJS is the only week of the year I'd absolutely refuse to go. Much like the rubicon trail on a jamboree weekend. Sitting in traffic on the trail is only slightly less frustrating than sitting in traffic on the freeway to me. I know I tend to run trails at higher speeds than most which only makes it worse. I'd rather deal with snow in the winter or triple digit heat in the dead of summer than the traffic that comes with safari week.

How many are going on the Trifecta run? We did get stuck behind groups at times. There was one point where we were stuck for an hour waiting for people to pick lines and spot down.

At EJS they know all the lines though so I'm sure will get everyone through quickly.
