Serious question for thought. I am 66 and retired living life. My 2019 Sahara 2.0 E torque ...I love my Jeep!
I just went over 80k so the warranty on the battery is over. Jeep runs great and no issues, I am pretty anal on maintenance.
My worry is the 48v battery, and not so much as the replacement cost, but the availability and being a dealer item only.
So 5 years from now will I still be able to get a battery?
It is obvious there will be no after market for this.
I have read about maybe 3 battery failures, but we are just getting to the end of the warranties on these.
I am debating on trading in for a non E Torque.
What do you guys think?
