DV8 modular bumper

Hello all, I installed a used DV8 modular bumper. This bumper comes with a winch plate, but for the life of me I couldn’t get it to fit my JLR. I hope someone can give me some insight on to how I can get it to fit. Unfortunately this bumper doesn’t come with directions.

While I can’t speak for every winch plate, quite a few people have had to grind down some of the frame/brackets to get it to fit right regardless of which brand it seems. Myself included. I’m running a Maximus-3 winch plate and had to do minor grinding to fit it in. So it really depends how much it is off by.

Thats quite unfortunate. Thanks for the information. I guess this thing isn’t going in and I’ll find one that actually fits without grinding.

Just be aware that the next one may be the same way. Maybe others will chime in and say they didn’t have an issue w X brand, but it’s such a tight tolerance in between the frame horns that even the smallest bit off and it won’t go in. Good luck in your search.
