I am new to the Jeep world. I was wondering if the 21 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon stock suspension will fit on my 20 JLU? I went to a local jeep meet up to see what the hype was about owning a jeep. I quickly realized. My jeep needs to go higher!

Here is a list of what I got
Front springs
Front shocks
Front control arms
Front stabilizer shock
Front sway bar links
Rear springs
Rear shocks
Rear sway bar links

The fronts are the same (except spring rates) and will bolt up. The rears are completely different. Running the rear shocks is possible with a bushing change, but the springs are different and so are the swaybar end links..

Not all of it.

Front should be fit, but: the stabilizer, sways, and CAs are likely the same that you already have mounted as they aren't changed in the JL->JLR
Rear springs are different.
Rear sway bar on the JTs are axle mounted, so that's a maybe. Corrected per above
Rear shocks, I believe have been done before but may mount differently.

I believe the fronts can work but the rear won't without modification to the shocks. Which is doable. The question is the springs as the spring rate is totally different for the truck than the Wrangler. As far as I know.

You might just be better off getting JLUR take offs. Its what I did with my sport. Ending up getting the shocks and springs for free. The other stuff is the same.

Others will probably have more feedback. Or confirmation.

Did you have to get longer control arms?

The biggest reason for LCAs being included in kits is for the addition of caster lost in the lift process.
Longer LCAs or shorter UCAs. Even the stock JLUR's lose caster compared to the sports.

Cheap addition for a little help are the Mopar Lift LCAs that run under $100 new for the pair. They are 1/4" longer than stock.
