Hello! What does one do to keep their ducks from rolling around in the window of the dash? I tried velcro to hold them in place, but that's a sticky mess when the temps are really high and no longer stick to the ducks. Anybody have any suggestions?

I only have one so far and it's a little guy, so he just sits on the passenger side grab handle above the glove box. He won't be there for long though, there are tons of jeeps in my area, so he'll fine a new home shortly.

My ducks stay put nicely in their little dash tray, even with the top off. No issues. ?? ?

I've never been ducked, I don't have strong feelings about it one way or the other. But are these things supposed to travel? I used to do the geo caching thing back in the day (hiking with a purpose, I told myself) and there were travel bugs you'd come across. Each bug had a serial number you could look up and sometimes they'd have a goal like getting to Key West or whatever, but it was always considered poor form to keep travel bugs long term. Basically take the bug and drop it into another cache somewhere. Is it the same with ducks? I do see Jeeps from time to time with a mess of ducks on their dash.

Funny enough, someone gave me one last weekend. I used some double sided 3M tape and have it stuck to my Ram Mount bar on the dash.

We got ducked and I placed him on the dash and at some point he became wedged between the glass and the dashboard and he hasn't rolled around since

67 designs rail. I put a screw with a washer in the bottom of the duck and tighten Otto where it just slides onto the rail. They stay where they are put now.

My wife's been ducked twice. She just leaves them in the tray on top of the dash.

Turn them around so they’re facing you, and then wedge their butts between the dash/windshield. It works well enough in my Jeep, but the Vector Off-Road E-Dock also acts as a safety net to keep them from jumping.

Won't they still try to fly when you drop the windshield?

I got ducked for the first time a couple weeks ago. We were driving home from Mecum Auction and I hear this girl say "Nice Jeep" and she's sitting on the back window sill hanging out and holding a duck in her hand. I moved closer and she handed it to me, smiled and said have a nice day. lol I put it on the passengers grab handle and it hasn't moved at all. They sure have some funny looking ducks in IA cuz it looks like a lamb to me. lol
