I have been slowly indoctrinated to the dark side. I've had my share of jeeps since '75 when I bought a "44 GPW.
My first duck was found on my driver's door handle when coming out of a big box store. I pitched it because I thought the entire thing to be silly. Then I actually felt really bad because there might have been some kid watching to see how I reacted to their duck.
So now after long reflection, if I get a duck, it's OK. I'm glad someone likes my jeep enough to think it deserves a duck. So duck on.....although I'm not to the point of handing them out myself.

Now I have to resist this growing urge of placing colored lights under my jeep......maybe hanging some fuzzy dice from the rear view mirror will breakk this evil spell.

You see it with high performance cars, motorcycles, boats, guns, etc. people like to customize them, then treat them like a big diorama to be looked upon and envied over, never to be used as designed. Been that way forever.

A single duck was one too many in my opinion. Flame me if you like but what do ducks have to do with off-roading in a Jeep or Jeeps in general? You like my Jeep? Slip a $5 bill under the windshield wiper instead of leaving a silly rubber duck.
