Ds18 soundbar problem

I've installed a ds18 sound bar and have wired it all up with a 10in sub in the rear of my jlu. I'm getting alot of static and hear hum noise when I hit the brakes and even hear a loud clicking when using the turn signals. Ds18 says it's a jeep thing and crutchfield.com says the same thing. They also say I need a ap4-ch 41 adapter which is another 315 bucks!!! Anyone on here had the same problem and have any other ideas I can do before spending more money on what I thought was a all in one system?

Yeah I thought so too, change the ground to 2 different locations and still same problem. Using my phone as a head unit and hooking it to the amp with phone jack and rca cables they work fine. Just curious why the hi lo converter is t doing what it's supposed to. Weird to me. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll re-do it again just to make sure. Third times a charm they say.

You may need to add in a ground loop isolator.
