Driver side Upper control arm heat shield impossible to remove

Hi all,

I’m installing a lift kit in my JL 2 door 3.6 e-torque today, and I found it impossible to remove the driver side front UCA heat shield. There are 3 foil wrapped cable above the heat shield, and completely blocked the upper bolt.

I have a feeling that the three cables related to etorque system. wondering if anyone has experience of this? How do we handle the UCA body mount?

If II remember correctly I just removed what bolts could be removed and bent it out of the way. Then bent it back and bolted it back in. It's just a heat shield, doesn't need to be perfect.

on my 2.0 etorque i had an issue too with one of the sides. just bent it out of the way same as reinen.
